More Students Commit to Full Time Ministry

Youth Pastor, Trevor Fricke introduces the SDCC family to Josh and Michella at a recent Sunday service. They join fellow student leader, Gavin, in taking a pledge to work in full time ministry when they complete school!
Their brave acceptance of God’s calling on their lives is a reason for celebration and a calling to prayer for these students. It comes at a time when Christian College enrollment is declining and there is a marked shortage of pastoral candidates to fill positions in American churches.

The SDCC Worship Team is Growing

Wowza! Have we got some talented people serving The Lord in our Worship Arts Ministries – and more joining all the time! From the musicians, camera operators, computer, sound & light techs and live streamers to the fantastic singers; we are turning up the heat and bringing praises to God in our worship times.
It’s so great to see such an eclectic group serving. We have students who serve on Sunday morning as well as at Youth Service Sunday evening, not to mention the wide range of talent from our seniors and every age and dynamic in between!
If God has gifted you with any of these talents and if this sounds like a team that you would like to serve with, just reach out to our Worship Pastor, Scott Gannon at Scott@sdccfl.org for more info!

Light the Night

We’re doing it again! Every October 31st from 6PM to 8PM, we light up our community with a very special family event called Light the Night. Other area churches and the City of South Daytona join us in presenting this spectacularly fun carnival that draws thousands of guests from ours and surrounding communities. CANDY, games, inflatables, CANDY, costume contest, CANDY, train rides, petting zoo, CANDY, popcorn, cotton candy, food and did I mention . . . CANDY – tons of it; will all be a part of this amazing gift to our area families! This tradition of sharing the light and love of Jesus on what can be a dark night has impacted thousands each year and we love that we can continue gifting this to our community. If you would like to help, please contact the church office at 386-767-6949. There are many ways to help in person or give financially.
